I feel compelled to write to you today in order to express my profuse disappointment in the Toblerone company – what was once a cherished name among the Leicestershire Crochet Society. What a shame! That indulgent, Sunday night treat tampered with, reduced to half its original size and only half the quality. I find there is no longer a crunch to my bite, the quality of chocolate now being less than sub-standard. Is this to be just another sign of the times, I ask you? Another sign of our very Great Britain being dragged to the dogs? Clearly, the calibre of our confectionery is to fall along with the EU! How are we to display to the rest of the world how great Britain undoubtedly is, when your half-standard mountain peaks are melting in every airport across the country? May I suggest some serious thought goes into the development of the Toblerone in future? Currently, the Leicestershire Crochet Society would do a better job. And the less said about the nougat the better, wouldn’t you agree?
